Inspiring Canadian Artist Dean Bridgewater joins Alabaster Box Entertainment

Born in Hampstead, London, England, on September 3^rd, 1970, he was the last of six children.  Dean and his family migrated from England to Canada in August 26th 1990.  He dedicated his life to God in Kitchener on November, 1991 however he did not fully understand or realize the seriousness of his decision until many years later in the summer of 1997. He had gone through quite a few things during those six years and those experiences helped to give him the strength and the passion for the lyrics and the songs that he sings today. 

Dean Bridgewater is also a dedicated family man married to his sweetheart of 7 years, Kareen who has been his wife for the past 6 years. He also has three children, Isaiah 4-year old boy Ebony-2 year old girl Noah-1 year old boy.

Dean Bridgewater fell in love with Gospel music with the help of artist like, Commissioned, John P.Kee, The Winans, Fred Hammond and Israel Houghton to name a few.  However his greatest love of all is God, almighty. 

Dean began his vocal career when he joined his home church choir at Kitchener Church of God in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.  He was the lead tenor and also played the bass guitar. As Dean performed at various concerts and he began to understand that being in the choir goes beyond singing for him.  He wanted it to become a lifelong career. Dean continued his vocal career as the lead vocalist with groups such as Chosen Generation, Faith Chorale, Surrendered, and The Way.  He was also a background vocalist on the 49^th edition of the “New Generation of Gospel" CD and SMG’s CD album “Personal".

As an artist Dean’s desire is to use what God has given him to its fullest potential. During this process he grew in his musical talent.  Not only did he grow as a vocalist but he also began to write and composes his own music.  His lyrics and his music receive overwhelming responses from his audience. When they hear Dean’s songs and his style of music he captures the attention of the crowd.  Dean placed 2^nd in the Vibe Music Awards in the Inspiring Artist Category in 2004.  His performance was spectacular and captured the attention of not only the audience, but the judges as well. 

Dean is currently preparing for his first album that targets young adults between the ages of 18 to 35.  Dean Bridgewater continues to inspire everyone he comes in contact with and is planning to continue to strive towards excellence with, diligence, great expectations.

please miss diaz can you let mr bridgewater know that marcel, francesca his niece and our two sons wish him all the best and we are sorry we will be unable to make his launch at the end of this year as we are expecting our third child in november god bless you all.
